Waiting for a sauce with wine and cream, served with rump steak, broccoli and baked potatoes

New thingy in the house
Partially made with the Dec 13th wool
An old yellow orchid

Mung bean sprouts. A closer view. Delicious part of dinner today.
Yearly struggle with Christmas tree hooks 🙂
A tiny cookie man, made of wood. Found it somewhere laying in my house.
Dark, but I liked the glitter. Will be used for Christmas socks 🙂
Detail of an old rose.
New Christmas lights, still packed
Detail of an Indonesian layer cake aka “spekkoek”. A gift we got today.
Four little knitted birdies. They will fly away soon…
Stewed with balsamic vinegar. Served with beef stewed in port and mashed potatoes.
Unpacking Christmas things
Detail of the inner part
Borstplaat, a Dutch St. Nicholas treat, soft and very, very sweet, especially the white ones. The last of my “sweet’ photos for at least a few days.
A sweet marzipan alternative
The making of a chicory-apple salad, served with baked potatoes and oven bag chicken
St. Nicholas chocolate. Just a few more days to go…
