Jul 03 – Final moment Just being the proud father here while my daughter is getting her school diploma.
Jul 02 – Bouquet My daughter Karen got this wonderful bouquet from some teachers of her old school for getting her exams. Going to university next season.
Jul 01 – Balloons Found this balloons on my way home today. Not specially for me, I think , my guess it was for an official opening of a new bicycle path between home and work. A wonderful path btw!
Jun 30 – Railroad station Our railroad station (not very visible) and environment. Just wondering how this will look next year.
Jun 29 – Just a guy Just a guy playing music on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, where we celebrated the end of our school year with some drinks. We gave him some money and I asked if I could make a photo of him.

Jun 28 – Redcurrants Found this in my garden this afternoon. I like the range of colors. From “not ready yet” to “almost ready”.
Jun 27 – Lawn mower Ignored my lawn for some weeks, so today I had to do something about it. These were made after the job.
Jun 25 – Art again Another “Wiki loves art” session today after work. The ING art collection. Beautiful modern art. This statue was the only one outside. “Grote steigerende”, 1974, made by Arthur Spronken.
Jun 23 – Evening The sunlight was almost gone (10:15 PM), but I didn’t want to miss this day, so I walked to the end of the street to make this photo. Should have taken my tripod with me, lot of noise with this ISO value.
Jun 22 – Snail Found this little guy on my garden table this morning. He was still there, sleeping in his house, when I came back home this afternoon. I’m not a snail expert, so he could be a she.
Jun 20 – Lady with rose Spent a lot of the day with editing photos I made last wednesday for “Wiki loves art”. So for today I made a photo of a rose and added it to one of the paintings. Think she could use it.
Jun 19 – Rain and sun Just a little experiment. Two photos combined (15 minutes between them). Made through a window and just guessing the angel (no tripod). Upper left: lots of rain, lower right: the sun came back.
Jun 18 – Between the rails A quick “lunch walk” photo. Would be nice to see a train or two on this one. Not much time to make comments. Lots of young people (age 18/19) got a good exam results today (including my daughter), so it’s party time in the neighbourhood for some days here.
Jun 17 – 313 years later The market square at Haarlem with the Great or St. Bavo church. Made photos in the “Frans Hals” museum today, “Wiki loves art” is running here this month. Lot of restrictions in the museum, but it was wonderful to do. I’m not a big fan of old paintings, but it’s very nice to look at them through a camera.

Jun 15 – Portraits Portrait day at school. Playing a little with some portraits. Only my portrait (upperleft) wasn’t made by me (thanks John!). Homework: a decent selfportrait within two weeks
Jun 14 – Pond Just a little playing in my garden on a lazy sunday afternoon. Tried to catch a drop falling in my (repaired) pond. The light is from my flash, but I also needed (a lot of) sun, since the water pump is solar powered.
Jun 13 – Power lines When making landscape photos around here, it’s always hard to avoid these lines. I made the reds a little brighter here.
Jun 12 – The last lunch The last day at work of one of my colleagues. His official farewell was yesterday, but today we gave him a nice outside lunch.
Jun 11 – On my way home Normally there’s a lot of traffic here, but I was late on my way home. There’s the road, the railroad (no train), a man on a bicycle, some traffic waiting for the tunnel and a large cruise ship on the channel. The ship past the ferry before I was there (+/- 2.5 km) There seems to be an enormous amount of lampposts here. Never noticed that before.
Jun 10 – BBQ Sunny day today, but when I wanted to grill a chicken it started to rain. Luckily not for so long.
Jun 08 – Yellow On my way to work. Almost the beginning of the city. There used to be grass and trees here to hide the highway, now there is just sand and yellow flowers, in the future there will be buildings, I suppose.
Jun 07 – Peony Main problem with a photo a day is that you don’t have always the time for it. Today was such a day, so here’s just a peony in my garden with as background a raspberry plant. The hidden spider is just a nice addition.
