May 11 – From my garden…

Just picked a branch from my garden, washed it and made a photo of it. No idea about the species.

May 10 – Peony

The “Motherdays” flowers I bought for my wife. She loves them. Hope I can make another one this month when they are really beautiful.

May 09 – Purple lilac

Near the (always very windy) hockey field.

May 08 – Bug on white

Another wild flower. No names yet

May 07 – Orange kalanchoe

No time for outdoor photos today but we have this plant with tiny orange flowers at the moment (and luckily my wife knew the name).

May 06 – Holly (the flowers)

Just noticed today, my holly tree has flowers. Very small, but it really are flowers. So I picked a small piece of it (it needs a lot of trimming anyway) and tried to make something out of it. Too much spiderwebs and other dust to make it really great, but that’s nature and I like it this way.

May 05 – Buttercup

It was a cloudy and rainy day.

May 04 – Nature

Made in a park near my work. Don’t know what kind of flower or weed this is, or even what the name of the bug is. Doesn’t look like a normal fly to me.

May 03 – Orchid

May 02 – Bird cherry

Very nice smelling flowers with dew drops on a very early morning in the dunes.

May 01 – White dead netlle

It was hot today. Needed some fresh air after lunch. Found this white dead nettle (I think). Didn’t noticed the yellow guys (or girls) before I saw the photo on screen.

Apr 23 – Blue weed

Some weed I picked from my garden. It was late and dark. Never too old to learn So this is a “forget-me-not”, or “vergeet-me-nietje” (in Dutch). I knew such a flower existed, but I didn’t know I had it in my garden.

Apr 21 – Ant

After a busy day at work I took some photos in my garden. Trying to capture a small flower (some weed) I discovered an ant on it.

Apr 20 – White flower

A flower from my garden. Not sure about the species yet, but I hope to find out soon.

Apr 17 – Tulip

No tulip yet this month, so here it is. I know, the glass should be cleaner, but it’s almost midnight (again).
