Found this balloons on my way home today. Not specially for me, I think , my guess it was for an official opening of a new bicycle path between home and work. A wonderful path btw!
Just a guy playing music on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam, where we celebrated the end of our school year with some drinks. We gave him some money and I asked if I could make a photo of him.

Another “Wiki loves art” session today after work. The ING art collection. Beautiful modern art. This statue was the only one outside. “Grote steigerende”, 1974, made by Arthur Spronken.
The sunlight was almost gone (10:15 PM), but I didn’t want to miss this day, so I walked to the end of the street to make this photo. Should have taken my tripod with me, lot of noise with this ISO value.
Found this little guy on my garden table this morning. He was still there, sleeping in his house, when I came back home this afternoon. I’m not a snail expert, so he could be a she.
Spent a lot of the day with editing photos I made last wednesday for “Wiki loves art”. So for today I made a photo of a rose and added it to one of the paintings. Think she could use it.
Just a little experiment. Two photos combined (15 minutes between them). Made through a window and just guessing the angel (no tripod). Upper left: lots of rain, lower right: the sun came back.
A quick “lunch walk” photo. Would be nice to see a train or two on this one. Not much time to make comments. Lots of young people (age 18/19) got a good exam results today (including my daughter), so it’s party time in the neighbourhood for some days here.
The market square at Haarlem with the Great or St. Bavo church. Made photos in the “Frans Hals” museum today, “Wiki loves art” is running here this month. Lot of restrictions in the museum, but it was wonderful to do. I’m not a big fan of old paintings, but it’s very nice to look at them through a camera.

Portrait day at school. Playing a little with some portraits. Only my portrait (upperleft) wasn’t made by me (thanks John!). Homework: a decent selfportrait within two weeks
Just a little playing in my garden on a lazy sunday afternoon. Tried to catch a drop falling in my (repaired) pond. The light is from my flash, but I also needed (a lot of) sun, since the water pump is solar powered.
Normally there’s a lot of traffic here, but I was late on my way home. There’s the road, the railroad (no train), a man on a bicycle, some traffic waiting for the tunnel and a large cruise ship on the channel. The ship past the ferry before I was there (+/- 2.5 km) There seems to be an enormous amount of lampposts here. Never noticed that before.
On my way to work. Almost the beginning of the city. There used to be grass and trees here to hide the highway, now there is just sand and yellow flowers, in the future there will be buildings, I suppose.
