Jun 08 – Yellow

On my way to work. Almost the beginning of the city. There used to be grass and trees here to hide the highway, now there is just sand and yellow flowers, in the future there will be buildings, I suppose.

Jun 07 – Peony

Main problem with a photo a day is that you don’t have always the time for it. Today was such a day, so here’s just a peony in my garden with as background a raspberry plant. The hidden spider is just a nice addition.

Jun 06 – Tower and cinema

Just a quick snapshot of the “Munttoren” before going to “Startrek” in the cinema on the right.

Jun 05 – Church and taxes

Just like this view near my work. The church is from 1450, the tax office building is a lot newer, but I’m wondering: what would be older: taxes or churches?

Jun 04 – Cruise ship

Problem for today. European election day, but couldn't find much of it on the street (although politicians always claims otherwise). Dalai lama was in Amsterdam (wonderful man, my family was there, I had to work), so for today just a ferry shot (always need the ferry from home to work and vice versa): a cruise ship (not a very big one) on the channel. It's always a wonderful view to see these big ships passing. Sorry I couldn't provide better weather here. — Problem for today. The view at the end of my street this afternoon, a less than a minute walk.

Jun 02 – Train

Home in Zaandam, work in Amsterdam. So most of my photos this month will be made in one of the two cities. And most of the time there’s a train going between the two (but I’m normally using my bike).

Jun 01 – My garden

Very lazy today. Just sitting in my (small) garden in the late afternoon sun with a glass of wine and a camera.
